Due to inclement weather, we have switched today’s in person adoption event to a virtual adoption event. All 15 of the dogs who were supposed to attend the event today will still be available for adoption through this virtual process. Looking for the perfect cuddle-weather companion? Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation (LDCRF) will be hosting an outdoor adoption event at Cana on October 25 from 12-3. Come meet adorable adoptable pups and support a fantastic local small business! Please see below for a schedule of the day’s adoption events and read about our adoption process, and note that you will need to follow all CDC guidelines for this event, which includes wearing a mask!

Priority Interview Signups: 12:30-12:45

Adult Dogs- the adoption schedule for our adult dogs will be as follows:
Meet and Greet: 12:00-1:00 PM
Priority Interview Signups: 1:00-1:15 PM
Interviews and Adoptions: 1:15 PM until finished
Priority Interview Signups: 1:00-1:15 PM

General Information
Signups for adoption interviews will take place electronically, via an online form that we will provide the link to at the event. The form will not open until the beginning of the Priority signup periods listed above. Everyone who signs up during the Priority period will get an interview and will be equally considered to adopt. You may signup to interview for a dog after this period on a first come first serve basis, but we can’t guarantee you an interview.
We highly recommend that you read about our adoption process and complete an adoption application on our website before coming to the event to help speed up the process. Links below.
While we do our best to let you know which dogs will be at an event in advance, we sometimes have to make last minute changes in attendance.
