Matthew Mills is an instrumental acoustic guitarist from Northern Virginia. Matthew combines contemporary acoustic music with the influence of Flamenco guitar in every piece. Matthew has performed throughout Virginia and the Washington DC area and also toured Italy performing in the cities of Rome, Aquila, Caserta, Narni, Alatri, Frosinone, Cosensa, Treviso, and Calabria. Matthew has performed in many festivals and private party’s wineries and venues including the National Zoo and churches throughout Virginia. Matthew Mills is a guitarist for hire in the northern Virginia, Washington DC, Central Virginia, and Maryland area for private parties and solo performances. Matthew was mentioned in the July 2008 Guitar World Magazine along Guitarist Paco Delucia for innovative Guitar technique. Guitarist Al Di Meola Paco Delucia and John Mclaughlin have been inspirational in shaping his approach. Matthew performs exclusively with Ovation acoustic guitars.
